You can be sure SuperMemo really works!

Understandably you must be very sceptical about the true value behind SuperMemo. Here is the argument that should deprive you of any doubt that SuperMemo is a real McCoy.

1. Opinions - Before you start with SuperMemo, please review enthusiastic opinions of users and journalists about SuperMemo. You will understand that SuperMemo is not just a method based on blue-sky scientific research. It really works! (to better understand users of SuperMemo see User Survey)
2. Awards - If you review some of the awards granted to SuperMemo, you will be sure that its quality has been appreciated as a software product, too.
3. Press - If you still have doubts, read popular scientific articles about SuperMemo:
   • Scientific conquest of forgetful memory
   • Forget about forgetting.
   • Learn fast and forget about forgetting
4. Field test - You are now probably ready to commit a couple of minutes to downloading a working version of SuperMemo for a trial test! Remember to give it at least a month to see true results!
5. Users - Last, but not least, you can get in touch with true SuperMemo devotees. They can share with you their experience and their SuperMemo databases (click the name to send an e-mail with your questions or propositions):
   • Andrzej Lapa - winner of Database Competition 1994, author of various databases for learning medicine and Japanese, student of medicine, and a devoted user of SuperMemo for many years. Come to this paragraph again soon for a link to a SuperMemo Database Center maintained by Andrzej. In his plans: (1) SuperMemo shareware and freeware (programs and databases), (2) commercial SuperMemo databases, and (3) PC World SuperMemo Club (on-line version).
   • Edward Jacek Gorzelanczyk, MD, PhD - respected neuroscientist, coauthor of a number of publications with Dr Wozniak in the field of memory and cognition, author of books for students of medicine and biology (books accompanied by SuperMemo databases), contributor to the SuperMemo method, 10-year-long experience in using SuperMemo, 5-year-long experience in teaching with the use of SuperMemo, owner of a publishing house MedSystem.
   • Bruno Vernier, BSc in Math - Canadian educator looking for potential contributors to a non-commercial project of developing SuperMemo for Linux. His vision: to promote free computer-based education; freely sharing between learners and teachers; free from proprietary and financial barriers to the free flow of education, and creative educational ideas.
   • Marek J Minakowski, MSc - doctoral student at Institute of Philosophy, Jagiellonian University, Krakow, author of the winning database in 1995 Database Competition: Greek. Holder of the Best Achievement with SuperMemo record: 25,000 items in Advanced English memorized in four months.
   • Adam Sikorski, MSc - father of SuperMemo 1.0 for MacIntosh.
   • Bodek Kowalewski, MSc - one of the first registered users of SuperMemo, author of databases for learning languages (frequently scoring high in the Annual Database Competition), dedicated user and fan of SuperMemo.
   • Janusz Murakowski, MSc - one of the contributors to the SuperMemo method, currently enrolled in a doctoral program in physics at the University of Delaware, USA (personal web page)
